Duluth’s most underrated keytarist Paul Broman has traveled to Iceland for several years to visit friends and explore Reykjavik’s music scene. In 2010, he was introduced to Icelandic visual artist Unnur Andreas Einarsdottir and began to exchange musical ideas and tracks. For good measure, they added the talents of local DJ Kevin Craig to provide some backbeats to their electronic soundscapes. The result lands somewhere between trip hop, dub step, and trance music — all of which is completely danceable. Imagine Elizabeth Fraser of the Cocteau Twins singing for the Postal Service, but with keytars, glorious keytars.
