Irish poet, roots-rock vagabond, soul priest and master storyteller Teague Alexy has become a Duluth institution performing solo, in the Hobo Nephews of Uncle Frank or with his backing band the Common Thread. Raised in New Jersey, Alexy brought his gritty acoustic guitar work and insightful songwriting to Duluth more than 20 years ago. His music is now embedded in the Duluth soundscape as much as an early morning foghorn or the crackle of a late-night backyard bonfire. The versatile Common Thread includes Tyler Dubla on percussion, Rob Jones on keys and Brian Wells on bass.
