Folk-punk musician Rick McLean calls his music “aggressive acoustic satire, occasionally played on an electric guitar.” He’s been writing songs for over a decade and performing them live for about five years. His debut EP Coupla Focal was released in November, and the video for his song “St. James” was released in January. He started out and still plays solo-acoustic, but also works with a rhythm section to give the songs the energy and sound they have in his head. He’ll play guitar and sing during Homegrown, with Mike McLean on drums and probably Jacob Swanson on bass.
