Prøve Gallery is calling for painters, graphic designers, illustrators, writers, and all types of artists to create or recreate their ideal Homegrown Music Festival concert poster or show setlist. The imagery can be from your favorite Homegrown Music Festival moment, venue, band(s), Twin Cities Invasion, Iron Range Invasion, Superior Night or a complete fictional show that you always wished was part of Homegrown Music Festival.

In conjunction for this call for art, selected artwork will be on display next to the previous 19 years of Homegrown Music Festival Field Guide posters, Invasion Posters, Superior Night Posters, and other Homegrown memorabilia.

Prøve Gallery encourages artists in all disciplines to submit works to The Homegrown Poster Show.

Deadline for submission has been EXTENDED through Wednesday, April 26th by 12AM (midnight, central time).

Please submit: Image(s) of Work, Didactics [titles, medium, size, & price (if for sale)] in one PDF document.

Any form and style of art is acceptable.

All hung work must not exceed 50lbs, and must be READY TO HANG.

All submission materials must be written in English.

All work is shown at the artist’s own risk.

All work shipped to Prøve Gallery must be sent with return shipping or be picked up by the artist or an artist’s representative.

The Homegrown Poster Show exhibition will open Friday, April 28th, 7-10pm at Prøve Gallery. Located in downtown Duluth at 21 N Lake Ave. Join us in our Homegrown Music Festival night on Tuesday, May 2 8-10pm.

Both events are free and open to all ages.
