Heart's BaneThe brainchild of former Godhead and Manhood drummer Phil Roper, Heart’s Bane initially formed in 2009. It took five years for the full band to finally come together, debuting at Pete Fest 2014. Roper now takes on the role of lead vocalist and rhythm guitar, with Kal Howg handling lead guitar and backing vocals. Travis Sayler switched from bass to drums to make way for former Godhead and Manhood bassist Erick Hermanson. With the lineup complete, the band has been working hard to write music and play shows as much as possible. Howg says audiences should expect “good times, laughs, rockin’ melodies, atmospheric leads and a high-energy performance.”
