Homegrown Kickball Classic

Once a year the dirtbag musicians of Duluth attempt athleticism in the Homegrown Kickball Classic. It’s always an epic battle of evil against evil, with plenty of stabs in the back, name calling and other things polite society shuns.

Mary Bue

Mary Bue’s music touches upon archetypal themes of the human condition: love, loss, survival, dreams and the natural world. She played her first Homegrown in 2001 at the age of 19 and still looms large in the Duluth music scene though she hasn’t lived here since 2016. She is currently working on her ninth album, The Wildness of Living and Dying, set for release this spring.
