Event

Local music photogs will be showcasing their homegrown photographs at the annual Duluth Homegrown Photo Show at the Zeitgeist Arts Atrium. Portage will be on hand to provide music for the event! Exhibitors include:

Jeremiah Brown

Having played in a few punk rock bands over the years (including several Homegrowns), it seems only natural for me to combine my two passions of music and photography.

Laramie Carlson

Documents the (mostly) youth crazies of the Duluth music scene for the past 4 years, braving the drunken pit and putting his camera on the front lines where most would not.

Walt ‘Dizzo’ Raschick

Writer for various publications, appeared on stage, and contributed to a couple notorious music projects. He currently hosts his own long running eclectic radio program.

Jeff Harrison

Is. If he understood it better than that he would help you out on this question. Sadly after staring at the question that was all he could come up with.

Kristi Link Fernholz

A UMD ’98 grad, Kristi Link Fernholz lives on an organic farm in western Minnesota.

Jake Larson

No bio available at this time.

Richard Narum

A hobbyist photographer, often times making you the reluctant participant/victim in his evil plot to document Duluth.

Emily Norton

A photoblogger and photo documentarian who currently captures and publishes most of her images via iPhone.

Kip Praslowicz

Has been active in photography since 1997 and loves photographing human society in all its forms. He has seen enough beautiful photographs of Lake Superior to last a lifetime and believes that cheek-to-cheek photographs with big posed smiles are a terrible form of societal propaganda. He is a stubborn traditionalist who still uses only film for his photography.

Bill Schwalbe

The 21st century’s lesser known master freelance photographer. He specializes in capturing Duluth’s thriving music scene and general landscape photography.
